Schedule of events:
July 18, 2010 Klean by Kayak; Beach Clean up on Boughton Island 9:00 am Meet at Launch Point 9:15 am Orientation and organizing equipment & forms 9:30 am Begin kayak venture to Boughton Island 12:00 pm Lunch (please bring your own) 1:00 pm Continue clean up 2:30 Wrap up and head back to “mainland” Directions to Launching point As part of your adventure, you will contribute to the conservation of nature by cleaning Boughton Island’s beaches to help manage and protect what is used as a sanctuary by so many species of birds. As well, we will get an idea how much debris is being washed up from our surrounding waters. |
