Shipping & Returns
Orders will typically be shipped within 1-3 business days of placement.
Canoes, Kayaks, Hard Paddle Boards, Ski’s, Snowboards and fuel are ineligible for shipping. If purchased online a member of staff will contact you within 2 business days to arrange In-store Pickup.

* Due to Canada being a vast nation with many remote communities, we reserve the right to refund orders or make alternative shipping arrangements in areas where shipping is prohibitively expensive.
*Some orders may not qualify for free shipping due to size or weight constraints. In such cases, we reserve the right to refund the order or provide a shipping quote and an additional payment will be collected prior to shipment.
**Rates are estimates. If an order’s shipping exceeds the shipping rate, the customer may be notified, and additional payment will be collected prior to shipment.
All purchased items must be picked up within 10 days. Customers will receive an email to confirm when the order is ready for pickup. Most items will be available for pickup within 24 hours, though larger items may need to be transported on site. Picture ID and order number will be required for all pickups.
For insurance purposes Sporting Intentions staff may not help load Canoes, Kayaks or Paddle Boards onto vehicles without an inspected Thule transportation system.
How We Ship Our Orders
We ship all orders through Purolator and Canada Post. Please provide a physical delivery address in addition to a PO box – this is to confirm whether Purolator is able to deliver to your location. If a PO Box is used as a shipping address, your order will ship via Canada Post.
Online Purchase Returns
Your satisfaction matters to us, if you are unsatisfied with your order please contact us within 10 days for a full refund or 30 days for a store credit. If the item was shipped, the 10 days will begin from the recorded delivery date as issued from the carrier.
Additionally, merchandise must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in saleable condition along with original tags still attached and receipt.

Shipping costs are non-refundable and you will be responsible for return shipping costs. We are only able to refund the purchase price. You are welcome to return the item in-store with original proof of purchase.
To return online purchases
- Contact us for a Return Authorization (RA) number. We will not accept packages without prior approval. RA#'s issued within 10 days of items arrival will be eligible for a full refund, while RA#'s issued between 11-30 days would be for an exchange or store credit only.
- Package the order and proof of purchase securely. Ensure any previous shipping information is blacked out and write the RA# clearly on the side of the package.

Packages shipped collect or COD, or without an RA# cannot be accepted. It is also recommended to track the shipment with appropriate insurance as we cannot guarantee the arrival of the package.
Once delivered, the order will be inspected, and if confirmed a refund or credit will be issued and a confirmation email will be sent. Full refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7 days. Store credits will be applied to customer account or issued as a gift card.
Return New Items Only
Returned items must be in new, unworn condition without any scuffs, scratches, stains, tears, odor, or hair. Where appropriate we recommend you try clothes on with an undergarment.
Keep Tags On/In Original Packaging
Please do not remove any tags from the item(s) you wish to return, if item(s) are returned without original hang tags the return may not be processed. Items that come in a box or bag must be put back in their original packaging and the packaging must be in good condition.
Proof Of Purchase
Keep your receipts! Proof of purchase is required for all returns. When purchasing an item, we strongly recommend that you ask for your purchase to be put under your account in our system. Should you lose your receipt, we will have a copy on file for 5 years.
Items Ordered Online Can Only Be Refunded
Products bought through our online store cannot be exchanged, instead simply return your item for a refund. You are then welcomed to place a new order for the product that will better suit your needs.
Refund Turnaround Time
Returns by mail are received Monday-Friday, once we receive your return we will check that the product and the packaging are in original condition. We will then issue a refund. Once the refund is issued it can take up to 5 business days for it to appear on your credit card statement.
What Happens If The Return Policy Isn’t Followed?
If an item is returned and it does not meet the above guidelines, your return may not be processed and you may not be refunded. For returns by mail, we will notify you via email and offer 2 options:
- The item can be shipped back to you at your cost
- The item can be donated to a local donation center
